You’re gonna love this no-peel apple crisp recipe. We didn’t want to take away any of the beautiful flavor or color of these zesty-yet-sweet SweeTango® apples!

Ingredients

Apple Filling

    • 2 lb. SweeTango® apples, chopped (about 5 apples)
    • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • ½ tsp kosher salt
    • 2 tsp cinnamon
    • ¼ cup sugar-free sweetener
    • ½ Tbsp cornstarch

    Topping

      • ½ cup gluten-free rolled oats
      • ½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut flakes
      •  cup almond flour
      •  cup pecans, chopped
      • ¼ cup sugar-free sweetener
      • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
      • ½ tsp kosher salt
      • 8 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

       

        Directions

          1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a 9 in. x 13 in. baking dish with butter.
          2. In a large mixing bowl, toss apples with sweetener, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, and cornstarch.
          3. Pour apples into baking dish and bake for 30 minutes to soften.
          4. Mix topping ingredients in a bowl, saving melted butter for last. Stir to combine and ensure everything is evenly distributed.
          5. Remove apples and top with crumble.
          6. Return dish to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes, until the top is golden brown. Allow to cool for 10-20 minutes before serving.
